HANSELL HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!

And the state, for that matter. It seems Mr. Sweater Vest is off to spread his love to the good folks at WIKY in Evansville, Indiana. As you can see, they enjoy him so much there that they didn't put his picture or bio on their website!

But, Sweater Vest did not leave the Fox quietly. Right before he left, he brought out his legendary broom, and brushed broadcast veteran and station stalwart Rich Nadeau out the door. What is it with this guy and quality veteran talent that he finds so threatening? Watch your backs, WIKY staffers!

Fortunately, Rich was able to get his job back at the Fox after SV's departure. Way to go, Rich! Others have not been so lucky.

Wow.. this has been quite an entertaining and enlightening blog to stumble upon. As a former KHQ air talent (circa 1994-1999) I always suspected corruption within the ranks but for the love of what I did, opted to stay as removed from it all as possible in my quest to have fun and be great at what I did. And I believe I was, or so Arbitron told me. ;) Such a shame really.. so so SO many talented voices have graced those powerful airwaves over the years!

Ron Pritchard has no doubtfully changed the request line for the best in oldies in Northern Michigan. Through sponsering a Rare Track feature it has allowed for the eclectic listeners of second shift a variety that has been strongly desired. A lesson in music.

Ron is a musical Geru that should never go unrecognised. His mastery of honoring repeat and unusual requests while making the show funny, as well as serious at the times needed makes his sucess a purity that will gain him vast respect from all who listen. Former alligations in such manner that may represtent falacitys should be ignored so that his matsery and respect between listener and DJ be fully recognised.
